Low carbon scheme launched to help cut your energy bills
Are you part of a small or medium business looking to make environmentally friendly changes? Whether you want to launch new eco products and services or wish to reduce the environmental impact of your operations, you could be awarded both funding and training.
Surrey County Council is currently running the LoCASE, (Low Carbon Across the South and East) scheme which helps businesses of up to 250 employees by providing grants of up to £10, 000.
Find out more and register your interest on the LoCASE website.
What is the grant for?
The grant can be used for a variety of different things including (but not limited to) low-carbon or renewable upgrades to building heating, lighting and insultation, replacing office equipment with more energy-efficient versions, or energy-saving operational equipment such as automatic closing doors to cold stores.
The grant will form up to 40 per cent of the cost of the eligible project, with the remainder matched by the business.
