Educational psychology practitioner resources

The Surrey Educational Psychology Service has developed a new early intervention and prevention support offer for education settings. The new service offer builds upon the temporary offer that has been in place since October 2024, which utilised one-off recovery funding to provide additional resources for the remainder of the 2024 to 25 academic year, as a proof of concept for the wide-ranging benefits of Educational Psychology (EP) involvement.

With the ending of the trial funding, schools and settings will have the option to continue benefitting from enhanced EP involvement, with the option of purchasing extra EP time for early intervention and prevention. The service offer is now available to purchase through the Surrey Education Services Hub.

This innovative support offer marks a significant leap forward in ensuring that educational settings in Surrey are equipped with the necessary resources and expertise to support their students effectively. For more information and to discuss how the service might tailor a package a support for your setting or Trust, please contact the Surrey Educational Psychology Service on eps.businesssupport@surreycc.gov.uk.
