Social care Registered Managers’ Network meetings

In collaboration with Skills for Care, we run nine Registered Managers' Network meetings throughout the year. These are a great opportunity to meet with other registered managers from Surrey to discuss a variety of topics.

Expert speakers will join to lead conversations and you will have the opportunity to share your own thoughts, concerns, ideas and ask questions.

You can also see the Surrey Care Association Registered Managers' Network information. This network is separate from the network we organise with Skills for Care.

Due to changes in how funding for the network is arranged between Skills for Care and the Department of Health and Social Care, these sessions are now being co-ordinated more closely by Skills for Care. This means that bookings will now be handled by them and not through our booking system. Links to booking forms will be included with details for the relevant session below and we will be sharing the links through our mailing list.

Despite these changes, Surrey County Council will still be heavily involved in the planning for these sessions and will still be present at each of the meetings.

Mid meeting 2 - Funding and Training Support

  • Time: Thursday 7 November, 10am to 12pm
  • Venue: The Royal British Legion Hall, The Street, West Clandon, GU4 7TD

This session will be on the topic of learning and development, along with the funding that is available to help you support your staff development. There will be different speakers from Skills for Care and Surrey Heartlands, who will be speaking about a range of topics, such as digital funding, career ambassadors and the Learning and Development Support Service.

If you are able to join this session, please follow the link to the booking form for this event. (Please note, this booking form is not handled by Surrey County Council and is managed by Skills for Care.)
