Accessibility statement for Netloan PC bookings

This statement for the Netloan PC booking application (v5.8) has been produced by Surrey County Council, based on information provided by the supplier, Lorensbergs.

Compliance status

The application is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Reporting accessibility problems with this website

We're always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we're not meeting accessibility requirements in particular areas, please contact Web and Digital Services.

Enforcement procedure

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the 'accessibility regulations'). If you're not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

Non accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non compliance with the accessibility regulations

  1. The reservation grid uses colours to show the status of reservations and may not be accessible to screen reader software. However, there is an accessible alternative with the reservation wizard, which does comply.
  2. The staff reporting formats might not work with current assistive technologies because they use technologies that do not support accessibility. As an alternative you should always use the Excel format for reports, which does work with assistive technologies. Netloan always generates an Excel version whenever you run a report.
  3. The Netloan web pages are not currently responsive and do not support reflow.

How we tested this website

Netloan is tested by the supplier with every release, up to three times per year. The supplier has tested the application against the WCAG 2.1 standard, and has used the WAVE tool to support their testing.

What we're doing to improve accessibility

We are working with the supplier to upgrade to the latest version of the Netloan software (5.9), for which there are no known non-compliant issues outstanding for end users.
