Epsom and Ewell Local and Family History Centre

The centre is based in Ewell Library, and you can use the local history centre resources at any time that the library is open.
Even better, visit us at the following times each week when volunteers are available to help you use the resources and equipment.
- Tuesday 5.30pm - 7.00pm
- Wednesday 10.00am - 12.00noon
- Thursday 2.00pm - 4.00pm
- Friday 2.00pm - 4.00pm
- Saturday by appointment only
The centre exists to encourage interest in local and family history in Epsom, Ewell, Langley Vale, Stamford Green, Stoneleigh, and Woodcote.
We offer an extensive range of resources including census records, parish registers, large scale maps, directories, electoral registers and photos.
We provide a microfiche and microfilm reader-printer and there is access to the internet on the library computer terminals.
If we can't answer your question, we can refer you to local experts or Surrey History Centre. When the centre is not staffed you can leave a written enquiry.
The centre is a partnership between Surrey Libraries, Surrey History Centre, Bourne Hall Museum and Epsom and Ewell History and Archaeology Society, and is staffed by volunteers.
