Change your permit details

If you need to change any of your details listed below, you must update your permit details online via your Surrey account. Your details will already be on our system, so please do not apply again for a permit, as any new applications will fail.

Please note: You will need to accept our terms and conditions before any changes will be accepted.

You will receive an email confirming the changes you have made.


Cancel your permit

If you have moved address, sold your vehicle or moved out of Surrey, you will need to cancel your permit. To do so, please email the following details to: contact.centre@surreycc.gov.uk.

Please do not transfer the permit when you sell your van, pickup or trailer. The new owner will need to apply if they are a Surrey resident and wish to use our community recycling centres.

If you have a printed copy of your permit, you can either destroy the permit or hand it in to any community recycling centre.


Renew your permit

You don't need to apply for a new permit every year. It will be automatically renewed on your first visit in the new calendar year.
