Renew and pay, change or cancel your van, pickup and trailer waste permit

Renew and pay for your permit

From 3 January 2020, you will be charged a non-refundable fee of £8.50 if you want to use a van, pickup or trailer to take household waste to a designated Community Recycling Centre. Due to this change, all existing permits will expire on 31 December 2019.

You will be able to renew your permit and make the appropriate payment on this page on or after 3 January 2020.

If you have not renewed and paid for your permit when the charge comes in to effect, you will be refused entry.

Change your permit details

Change your permit details

If you need to change any of your details listed below, you must update your permit details online via your Surrey account. Your details will already be on our system, so please do not apply again for a permit, as any new applications will fail.

  • email address
  • telephone number
  • vehicle registration

Please note: You will need to accept our terms and conditions before any changes will be accepted.

You will receive an email confirming the changes you have made.

Cancel your permit

  • permit number
  • name

Please do not transfer the permit when you sell your van, pickup or trailer. The new owner will need to apply if they are a Surrey resident and wish to use our community recycling centres.
