Key Stage Transfer dates for 2024

If you have a child who is moving through the key stage transfer process this year, please see below key dates relating to home to school travel assistance for the following areas: Year 2, Year 6, Year 11.

Although we have application deadlines in place in some circumstances, you are still able to apply for travel assistance after these dates. We encourage you to submit an application by the deadline that relates to your circumstances, so that the Surrey School Travel and Assessment Team (SSTAT) has the maximum amount of time needed to plan travel assistance arrangements in advance of the start of term in September 2024.

For any child who is assessed as eligible for assistance, we will provide you with an operational guide which talks about what happens after eligibility is confirmed along with guidance on transport operations.
