Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 04 October 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Wigmore Lane (D298) Beare Green as extends from its junction with (A24) Capel By-pass to its junction with (C52) Horsham Road.
Alternative Route: (1) (C52) Horsham Road, (A24) Beare Green Roundabout, and (A24) Capel By-pass and
(2) (A24) Capel By-pass, (A24) Clarks Green Roundabout, (A24) Capel By-pass, (A24) Beare Green Roundabout, and (C52) Horsham Road.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of new electrical connection works for, or on behalf of ALS Civil. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 10 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 October 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
