Wick Lane (D3112) Englefield Green
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2023
On 30 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;
(a) Wick Lane (D3112) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with (D3113) Kings Lane to its junction with (D3112) Wick Road, and;
(b) suspend "The Surrey County Council Wick Lane (D3112) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023" in its entirety.
The Order is required to facilitate –
(1) Sewer cleaning works and/or utility maintenance works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Lanes Group. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm commencing 12 September 2023.
Alternative Route: Kings Lane, Bond Street, Blays Lane, and Wick Road; and
(2) To allow installation of telegraph pole works and/or utility maintenance works to be carried out by, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm commencing 18 September 2023.
Alternative Route: Wick Road, London Road, St Judes Road, Bond Street, and Kings Lane.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commence on 12 September 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
For parts (1) and part (2) access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the diversion route.
