Walton Lane (D3875) Weybridge
Temporary Traffic Management Order 2023
On 27 September 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;
a) the northern arm of Walton Lane (D3875) Weybridge as extends from its junction with the access to "Weybridge Rifle and Pistol Club" to its junction with the southern arm of (D3875) Walton Lane; and
b) Suspend "The Borough of Elmbridge (Desborough Channel Bridges, Walton Lane Weybridge) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1994 in its entirety and Suspend any other Order that imposes a One-Way system of Traffic on the northern arm of (D3875) Walton Lane Weybridge.
Alternative Route: Walton Lane.
This Order is required to facilitate replacement telegraph pole works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 4pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 10 October 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times via the operatives on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
