Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 22 November 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Victoria Avenue (D6951) West Molesey as extends from its junction with (D6951) Thames Meadow to its junction with (D6952) Buckingham Avenue.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom maintenance works for, or on behalf of Clearview Services Group. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 dates, starting 06 December 2023 for 1 day and 19 December 2023 for 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 December 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
