Trumps Green Road (C10) Virginia Water
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023
On 30 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Trumps Green Road (C10) Virginia Water as extends from the bridge known as "Longcross Bridge" and for a distance of 30 meters either side.
Alternative Route: Trumps Green Road, Bridge Lane, Lyne Crossing Road, Hardwick Lane, (B386) Holloway Hill, Longcross Road, and Kitsmead Lane or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate intrusive bridge assessment works and/or maintenance works by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be completed as soon as possible between the hours of 7pm and 4am within 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 September 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
