Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 06 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Tandridge Hill Lane (C73) Godstone.
Alternative Route: (A25) Oxted Road, (C72) Flower Lane, (C72) Gangers Hill, or this route in reverse. (N.B Width Restriction 6'6").
This Order is required to facilitate bridge joint inspection works for, or on behalf of National Highways. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 nights between the hours of 9pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 18 March 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.
