Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 28 February 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Kings Mill Lane (D355) South Nutfield as extends from its junction with the boundary of the property known as "Flint Cottage" to its junction with the access to the property known as "Staplehurst Farm".

Alternative Route: Kings Cross Lane, Crab Hill Lane, Moats Lane, Prince of Wales Road, Green Lane, Axes Lane, Masons Bridge Road, Kings Mill Lane (Redhill), and Kings Mill Lane (South Nutfield), or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 March 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
