Hurstdene Avenue (D3304) Staines Upon Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023

On 06 September 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;

a) the Westbound carriageway of Hurstdene Avenue (D3304) Staines Upon Thames as extends from its junction with (D3304) Beechwood Avenue to its junction with (C244) Worple Road and;

b) suspend "The Surrey County Council D3304 Hurstdene Avenue, Staines Upon Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022" insofar as it relates to that length of Hurstdene Avenue (D3304) Staines Upon Thames specified in part (a) of this Notice.

Alternative Route: Beechwood Avenue, Cherry Tree Avenue, Chestnut Grove, Kingston Road, and Worple Road.

This Order is required to facilitate relaying of service pipe works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be completed over 3 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 September 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times via the road plates on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
