Temporary Banned Left Turn Order 2024

On 07 February 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles that are travelling southbound in the dedicated left-hand lane of Flambard Way (A3100) Godalming from turning left into (D5419) Woolsack Way.

Alternative Route: (A3100) Flambard Way, (D5419) Catteshall Lane, and (D5419) Woolsack Way.

This Temporary Traffic Order is required to allow improvement works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 nights between the hours of 7pm and 5am, within the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 February 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary prohibitions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The above restriction shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police.
