Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 31 January 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (a) Eashing Lane (D94) Milford as extends from its junction with (A3100) Portsmouth Road to its junction with (D5425) Franklyn Road and (b) Suspend "The Surrey County Council Eashing Lane (D94) Milford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" in its entirety.

Alternative Route: Eashing Lane, (A283) Guildford Road, and (A3100) Portsmouth Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate remedial telecom works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 February 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.
