Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 06 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Earlsbrook Road (D1270) Redhill.

This Order will be carried out in 2 phases to facilitate mains water replacement works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 9 months between the hours of 8am and 5pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 March 2024.

Phase (1) Earlsbrook Road (D1270) Redhill as extends from its junction with (C222) Hooley Lane to its junction with (D1270) St Johns Road.

Alternative Route: Hooley Lane and St Johns Road, or this route in reverse;

Phase (2) Earlsbrook Road (D1270) Redhill as extends from its junction with (D1270) St Johns Road to its junction with (X68738) Station Approach East.

Alternative Route: St Johns Road and Brambletye Park Road, or this route in reverse.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
