Dene Street (D2813) Dorking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 23 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Dene Street (D2813) Dorking as extends from its junction with (A25) High Street to its junction with (D2834) Heath Hill.

Alternative Route: Dene Street, Chart Lane, (A24) Deepdene Avenue, (A25) Reigate Road, and (A25) High Street or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to carry out utility infrastructure works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 04 September 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
