Cogmans Lane (D369) Smallfield
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023
On 23 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Cogmans Lane (D369) Smallfield and; b) suspend "The Surrey County Council Cogmans Lane (D369) Smallfield in the District of Tandridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" in its entirety.
Alternative Route: Normans Road, Chapel Road, Redehall Road, and Plough Road or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate highways improvement and/or maintenance works by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 06 September 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the operative on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.
