Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 07 February 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Church Road (B3121) Addlestone.
Alternative Route: (A318) High Street, (A318) Chertsey Road, (A317) St Peters Way, (A320) Guildford Road, (B3121) Murray Road, and (B3121) Spinney Hill, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate water connection works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 nights between the hours of 10pm and 6am within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 February 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
