Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 23 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Batts Hill (D1232) Redhill as extends from its junction with (D1243) Coniston Way and (D1243) Daneshill to its junction with (C224) Linkfield Lane.

Alternative Route - Daneshill, and Linksfield Lane.

The Order is required to allow telecoms below ground cabling works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of JSM Group within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried over 4 nights between the hours of 8pm and 5am within the 12-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 31 August 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. All other traffic should use the signed diversion route.
