Coronavirus and office move: contacting the Surrey HER at the present time

The Surrey Historic Environment Record (HER) has resumed offering all of the usual search and enquiry services following the end of COVID-19 pandemic-related restrictions. However, as a result of the HER office being relocated from County Hall in Kingston to Quadrant Court, Woking in January 2021, team members will not be able to receive items sent to the former address.

Given the team now works predominantly from home, please also be aware that there will be delays in responding to postal correspondence arising from limited staff presence in the office.

The preference is for all correspondence to be sent via email: her@surreycc.gov.uk. Requests for HER searches or information about Surrey's historic environment can also be submitted using our Surrey Historic Environment Record enquiry form.
