Our community engagement teams are always out and about in Surrey in order to empower residents to have their say on where they live, study or work. Community engagement events enable us to gain meaningful insights and feedback by meeting residents face to face, helping us to deliver improvements to towns and villages in partnership with wider system partners.
We will be out and about in communities engaging on how to shape Neighbourhood Area Committees. As well as attending community events we will also do "drop-in" sessions with different population groups where insights from specific groups are required to ensure we gather the views from as wide a group of people as possible. For example where the views of young people are sought we will do some specific youth targeted events.
