Bespoke in house Support Fund - training and learning support for care providers

The Adult Social Care Grant is now being replaced by the our Bespoke in house Support Fund. This fund will allow us to organise training courses in your place of work for your staff, which can be tailored to your requirements.

We will be able to offer up to £2,000 to 25 plus care providers. Each quarter we will be accepting applications from around five providers.

As with our open courses, this fund is available to all providers of adult social care that operate in Surrey, such as providers of:

  • Residential care,
  • Nursing home care,
  • Domiciliary care,
  • Respite care, and
  • charities.

We providing funding for a wide range of training for you and your staff, such as training related to:

  • Safeguarding,
  • Management and leadership,
  • Team building, and
  • medical conditions

As well as training, we can also support you be arranging for someone to audit your processes or run mock inspections and help you prepare for a real one.

Please note: We will no longer be accepting applications for the Adult Social Care Grant. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

How to apply

To apply for the bespoke in house support fund, please contact richard.anstead@surreycc.gov.uk. Please include in your email, which topics you would be looking for the in house session to cover. These will be organised on a first come, first served basis, but please also let us know the timeframe that you would be looking the sessions to take place within.
