Travel plans are required for all new large or expanding developments. Travel plans may also be requested for smaller developments where significant amounts of travel will be generated or will have an adverse impact on the locality.
Our Travel Plan Good Practice Guide can be found at the bottom of the page. It contains information about when a travel plan or a travel statement will be required. The guide also contains guidance about setting targets, travel plan content and monitoring.
Two travel plan templates are also available, which can be amended to suit planning need. Please refer to the Travel Plan Good Practice Guide when completing these.
