Surrey County Council's Explore Surrey's Countryside newsletter is used to communicate with people who have told us they want to find out more about how we look after Surrey's countryside.

We collect and use your personal data in order to communicate with you in a cost effective and timely way.

We only collect your email address once you have requested this information.
If we take a photograph of you or film you, we ask for your consent to use this in the communications we undertake.

Consent
Where we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, we will explain to you what we are asking you to agree to and why. If we have consent to use your personal data, you have the right to remove it at any time. If you want to remove your consent, please contact us at the following email address exploresurrey@surreycc.gov.uk and we will deal with your request.
Each Explore newsletter offers the opportunity to unsubscribe or update your contact details every time it is sent out. The photo and film consent lasts for five years after which we will re-seek your consent or no longer use the photo or film.
Who we share your personal data with
Your data is only held for use in emailing the Explore Surrey's Countryside newsletter. We do not share your data with anyone else.
