Diverse group showing NHS register

The Learning Disability Register is a list that each GP surgery has of their own patients who have a learning disability.

Woman with staff team

This is so that staff know who has a learning disability so they can make sure they are supported in a way that works for them.

Some examples of reasonable adjustments are:

  • giving people a longer appointment
People waiting at NHS with quiet sign
