Council spending open data

Developers can now view this on our open data platform where more technical information is available. The open data platform has reports from October 2014 onwards. Earlier reports from April 2013 are available on the Procurement report archive page.

Due to a technical issue with the open data platform the spend reports covering the period April to June 2015 are available under files available to download.

How to use the data

As part of our commitment to being open and transparent we publish a number of reports related to our procurement activities.

The data is organised by the type of goods and services we buy, as shown in the Material Group column. It is made available as open data. Occasionally there will be negative values in the spend. These are due to credit notes appearing on our system.

If you are considering sending us a Freedom of Information request, take a look at the reports first as the data may answer your questions and save you time. If you require any of the reports below in a different format/file type, please contact us.

Find out more about other information the council publishes and how to access it on the Open Data page.
