Shepperton Community Recycling Centre

Service restrictions – Building works are currently underway at Charlton Lane to develop Surrey's new Eco Park. As a result, the community recycling centre service is temporarily restricted and this is affecting waiting times. Some residents may wish to visit earlier in the day mid-week when the site is less busy, or alternatively you can visit either:

Lyne Lane, Chertsey KT16 0AR to dispose of household, garden and non-household waste such as rubble, soil or refillable gas bottles.

Martyrs Lane, Woking GU21 5NJ to dispose of household, garden and non-household waste such as rubble, soil, plasterboard, tyres or refillable gas bottles.

Community Recycling Centres, once known as rubbish tips or dumps, are now called recycling centres as the majority of waste is recycled.

Important information for commercial customers: From 31 March 2016 the Waste Transfer Station will not be able to accept chargeable trade and commercial waste. This is due to site redevelopment. We will continue to review the development and when the situation changes we will update our website. The Community Recycling Centre will not be affected by this change. Find your nearest alternative Waste Transfer Station.

Opening hours

From 8 January 2018

  • Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm
  • Weekends - 9am to 4pm
  • The centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
