Waste we charge for

Community Recycling Centres consultation have your say banner

There are charges for disposing of hardcore, rubble, plasterboard and tyres at our Community Recycling Centres (CRCs). This type of waste is considered non-household or DIY waste, and it's usually created from the construction, alteration or repair of a home or garden.

Most waste can still be taken to our CRC(s) for free.

If you are not sure of the best way to recycle or dispose of a particular item of waste or you would like to know which is your nearest CRC, check 'What can I recycle?' and it will give you all the information you need.
