Business and commercial waste

It is illegal for businesses to dispose of their waste through any of the facilities provided for householders (such as household kerbside collection bins, street bins, local household recycling banks or community recycling centres). 

Business are responsible for ensuring the waste they produce is dealt with appropriately and lawfully

Waste transfer stations

Business waste can be taken to a waste transfer station where it will be weighed and a charge made for its disposal. Before being able to accept commercial waste at any of our sites, you must have registered yourself as a carrier of waste and be able to show a valid Waste Carriers Licence or exemption certificate. Charges for business waste disposal

The charges are set by SUEZ and include VAT. The charges are effective 01 April 2016 and are subject to change.
