Staff are now eligible to participate in Microsoft's Software Assurance Home Use Program (HUP). This program enables you to get a licensed copy of most up to date Microsoft® Office.

Am I eligible?

You must be a Surrey County Council employee.

Unfortunately this benefit is not available for Schools based staff and staff based at Adult Learning Establishments as these services are not included in the Surrey County Council IMT enterprise subscription.

When can I apply?

You can apply at anytime throughout the year.

How do I apply?

  2. Enter your corporate e-mail address (i.e.

Employees without a Surrey County Council email address

To apply for this you must have a SCC corporate email address with one of the following domains:


Unfortunately those without a corporate email account will not be able to redeem this offer.


Currently there are two options. These are Home Subscription £55.99, for multiple users in the same home, and Personal Subscription £41.99, for a single user.

What happens if I purchase the wrong software?

Microsoft will not offer any refunds and they will not reactivate the account. You must ensure that you purchase the correct software.

Can I buy more than one application?

No you can only buy one application with this offer and Microsoft do monitor this process.

What happens if I leave the council?

The discounted price applies as long as the employee's subscription remains active, regardless of their employment with the council
