Information for specialists working with vulnerable adults in residential areas

Coronavirus: support and information

If you need help during the coronavirus outbreak, please see our coronavirus webpages.

You can find details of our community helpline and other ways to get support on our I need help page, and there's also help and support if you are self isolating.

The "Keeping you safe from fire" campaign specifically aims to increase the safety of vulnerable adults in the community and in residential care.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service is currently working with residential care providers to develop a number of resources and guidance to ensure their care homes are suitably equipped and their staff have the appropriate level of knowledge and resources to respond if a fire should occur.

In addition, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service staff are able to give advice on how to minimise the risk of fire in your care home. For further information, please contact:

  • Telephone: 0800 085 0767
  • SMS: 07860 053 465

In an emergency always call 999
