South east specialist teachers
What we do?
We are a team of teachers and teaching support staff that provide support, advice and training to all schools in the south east of Surrey. Our services support the inclusion, attainment and well-being of all children but in particular those with SEND. We aim to address needs early, our individual pupil work is aimed at children who are on the code of practice at school support level, our training and school support work is for all (please see menu of support attached below). Referrals to our service need to made by the school following a discussion with their link specialist teacher. Our work is completed in schools but involves all key stakeholders including families.
Who is who?
The specialist teachers are all experienced qualified teachers or support staff with a wealth of expertise in both mainstream and specialist settings. Many of the teachers have worked as SENCOs or in senior leadership positions and a number hold post graduate or MA qualifications.
