Surrey County Council and Surrey's Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have received confirmation that Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be re-visiting the area in the week commencing 18 March 2019.
The visit will last three days, and we expect inspectors will meet with local leaders, parents and carers and children and young people with special educational needs. There is an online survey for parents and carers to complete during the week before the visit; the survey will be open from 12 noon on Monday 11 March 2019 and closing at 12 noon on Friday 15 March 2019.
Read the letter from the inspectors (PDF), for full details on how children, young people, parents and carers contribute their views during this local area re-visit.
Ofsted and the CQC have asked that their letter be made available as widely as possible to parents and carers of all children in Surrey. Your views are important.
Parents and Carers are invited to an open meeting with Ofsted and CQC inspectors, to be held on Monday 18 March, 7pm at Therfield School, Dilston Rd, Leatherhead KT22 7NZ.
For full details, please read the Invitation to Surrey Parents and Carers to attend Local Area SEND open meeting.
