To find the local bus services serving your child's school use our A to Z of bus services. The list does not include coach and taxi services provided by Surrey County Council, as they are not available to the general public.

Bus passes, discounts and offers - under 16's

Free bus pass for disabled children aged 5 and over

Children with a disability aged 5 and over who are living in Surrey may be eligible for a free bus pass for disabled people.

Transport for London: 11 to 15 Zip Oyster photocard

Free bus travel, including routes crossing into Surrey.

These include: K3, S1, 116, 117, 166, 203, 216, 235, 290, 293, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 411, 418, 434, 464, 465, 466, 467 and 470.

Passengers aged 11 to 15 must carry an 11 to 15 Zip Oyster photocard. If they cannot produce one, they will be charged the standard adult cash fare.

Stagecoach student travel cards

Subsidised bus travel cards valid on any Stagecoach bus for any travel 7 days a week. Cards can be bought on a half termly, termly, or annual basis.

Southdown Student Fare Card

Surrey residents aged between 16 and 19 can travel at the child rate on production of a valid Surrey Student Fare Card.

Those living elsewhere can apply directly to Southdown's Buses Student Fare Card.

Transport for London: 16+ student Oyster photocard

Concessions are available to students aged 16+ on Transport for London services using a 16+ Zip Oyster photocard.

Cobham to Salesian school bus

A community minibus service transporting students from Cobham to Salesian School free of charge.

Godalming College

Subsidised bus services (£1,100 for full academic year):

  • Farnham via Frensham, Churt, Hindhead and Haslemere.
  • Liphook via Rake, Liss, Bordon, Headley and Grayshott.

Guildford College

Supported Learning Students can get bus tokens to aid in confidence building and independence. The National Transport Bus tokens have been kindly donated by Stagecoach.
