What are Bookstart Treasure packs?
Bookstart is a programme run by Book Trust, a charity which is dedicated to encouraging people of all ages and cultures to engage with books. Their Bookstart Treasure pack is a gift for children aged three to four years old and contains a story book and a booklet full of tips for parents about sharing books together.
Who are they for?
The packs being delivered in 2017 are for children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014.
Parents of older children who have missed out or eligible children who don't go to an early years setting, can order one from their local library. Parents may also be interested in our Read with me leaflets and How parents can help with reading web page.
Deliveries in 2017
The online order form for deliveries in 2017 is now closed.
Wallington Cars and Couriers Ltd will be delivering to day nurseries, pre-schools and nursery classes of independent schools (who submitted a form) during the summer term. They will contact you to arrange delivery.
Thank you so much for helping us to get these wonderful packs out to children and their families.
