If you are unsure if adult learning is for you then have a look below at some recent feedback we have received following moving our learning online during COVID-19.
Online learning feedback
I was uncertain whether on line lessons would work for me and was delighted to find that they did. They have been an important part of my life during lock down and I'm grateful to 'A' for giving us such a good and enjoyable learning opportunity.
It's been really great to carry on with my learning during lockdown and I have enjoyed the lessons tremendously.
I must say that 'D' is a most fantastic teacher. The effort she puts into lesson preparation is superb. She is excellent and I feel very lucky to have her as a teacher.
The Tutor is excellent and the lessons are pitched just right. Thank You all.
The online lessons work really well. The lessons are very well planned and we get lots of feedback from the teacher regarding our homework. I definitely feel I have made progress and I have been motivated to keep working between lessons. I will definitely continue in the Autumn term.
Thank you - so impressed with the speed the classes were EFFECTIVELY transferred online.
This is the first course that I have ever taken at an adult education college. I have been so impressed with our teacher, and found the online experience pretty smooth.
I have really appreciated the extraordinary efforts made Surrey Adult Learning and my tutor to deliver such a professional distance learning package in such a short time and under such challenging circumstances. Well done everyone, and thank you. The only thing I would change would be to make the zoom sessions an hour although I know this would require a premium account by my tutor.
Beginners psychology with 'B' has quite literally changed my life. It has helped me to understand the mental health issues in members of my family and friends as well as understanding and dealing with my own mental health condition. As a result I have a better understanding of the right treatment for me and I can see myself in some of the case studies or subjects we have studied. Taking part in academic adult learning for the first time has given me confidence in my own capabilities and ability to learn as well as triggering a want to learn more and take part in additional learning. It has enhanced my life and me as a person. I am even toying with the idea of making a career change which I never thought I would be confident enough to do. Excellent!
