During the first week of February, SAL was assessed against the matrix standard and we are very pleased to announce that the service had a very successful outcome.
MATRIX is a quality standard for organisations to measure their information, advice and guidance services, which supports Learners and Staff in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals. At the end of the 3.5 days of interviews, involving a wide range of Learners, Tutors, Support Staff and partner organisations, our assessor, Stuart McRill, confirmed that "this was a very strong matrix assessment".
The matrix standard recognises the work we do as a service and the many benefits of learning with Surrey Adult Learning. This is an immense achievement for the service and could not have been achieved without the hard work, energy and passion of our Learners and Staff.
We would like to thank all the Learners that were interviewed or involved in some other way for their support and commitment to SAL.
