Report the fault online
How to make your online report
- If you are at the location of the fault, select Use my current location. Otherwise, add the postcode or road name to the location search.
- This will open a list of any reported issues in the area. If no one has reported the fault yet, continue by selecting Report a problem here in the top menu.
- Select Traffic signals from the list of categories.
- Locations of traffic signals will appear on the map so you can select the exact one with the problem. Then choose the fault from the list of subcategories.
If a pedestrian green or red signal has been turned or damaged, please report under either twisted or damaged traffic signal. Please state clearly in the Explain what’s wrong box that the issue refers to the pedestrian signal.
Types of faults you can report online
The following issues can be reported online:
- Leaning or damaged traffic signal or pole
- Twisted traffic signal facing the wrong direction
- Twisted traffic signal slightly turned but facing the right direction
- All traffic lights are off or one or more bulbs have failed
- Right turn green filter arrow does not light up
- Traffic signal hidden by overgrown trees or vegetation
- Poor operation or delays
- Audible bleeper issue
- Rotating tactile cone fault
- Traffic lights maintenance enquiry.
How to track your online report
You can view updates on your report by searching for the location of the fault and selecting the category Everything. All reports and updates will be listed for the area, including closed reports.
Or you can filter the search results by selecting the exact category you used for your report to filter the search results.
