The utility company SES Water are investing in an important water mains renewal project along West Park Road to secure safe and reliable drinking water supplies for homes and businesses.
SES Water now plan to start works week commencing 30 March 2020 and be finished by approximately June 2021.
Their contractor, Clancy Docwra, will be on site working extended hours of 7am - 7pm on weekdays, 8am - 5pm on Saturdays and 9am - 1pm on Sundays.
Road closures will be in place whilst works are carried out near the junction with A22 Eastbourne Road and B2037 Effingham Road. These closures will be in place 24 hours a day, for approximately three to four weeks at each junction. At all other times, the work will be carried out using temporary traffic lights.
Further information about road closures and updates on this scheme can be found on the SES Water website.
