Update 17 January - Road closure 23 January
The road closure required to carry out this work has been delayed by two days and will now take place on Thursday 23 January, from 8pm - 6am, for two nights. A further week of work will be carried out from Monday 3 February, for five days and nights (9:30am to 3:30pm and 8pm to 6am), under lane closures and temporary traffic lights.
Following a road safety audit of the completed Runnymede roundabout project, we will be carrying out the following minor improvement works.
- Minor changes to the layout of the road markings
- Footpath improvement works
- Cutting back vegetation
- Installing bollards
- Installing new road signs
Monday 13 January for two weeks (9:30am to 3:30pm and 8pm to 6am)
Monday 3 February for five days (9:30am to 3:30pm and 8pm to 6am)
There will be lane closures and temporary traffic lights in place on the roundabout during these hours (Monday to Friday only). We will also be carrying out minor works along the footpaths and verges.
Thursday 23 January for two nights (8pm – 6am)
There will be a road closure in place at night on the A308 The Glanty from the roundabout to Woodhaw for traffic heading towards Staines only. In addition to this, the U-turn facility used by Staines bound traffic will also be closed.
