The scheme will involve the completion of essential sewer connection works as part of the new housing development on Randalls Road, Leatherhead. KCS Drainage Ltd will be carrying out these works on behalf of Thames Water and every effort will be made to reduce the duration of the works and the disruption caused.
When are these works taking place?
These works will start on Tuesday 2 May 2017 and will be on-going for approximately three weeks. The road will be closed for 24 hours for the duration of these works and KCS Drainage Ltd will be on site working extended hours with some weekend working.
What are the works?
A new sewer connection will be installed at the junction with Randalls Road and Cleeve Road and the road will be closed between the two entrances to the crematorium. The junction with Cleeve Road, the entrance to Wildlife Aid and both entrances to the crematorium will remain open during these works.
A diversion route will be in place during the road closure which will be suitable for HGV vehicles with an overall height up to and including 14.9ft. This can be viewed on our Roadworks map.
Please note: access to properties will be permitted but may be delayed at certain times during our works. Specific access requirements can be discussed with the site foreman or traffic management team who will make every effort to help where possible.
Buses: to find out which bus stops are affected please visit our Temporary changes to bus services page.
