Surrey is an affluent county that benefits in economic terms from its proximity to London and international gateways such as Heathrow Airport and the Channel Tunnel. This section looks at some of these transport challenges, covering areas such as the environment, public transport, road safety and congestion. It has been updated and refreshed in 2017 to take account of the Asset Management Plan.
