Helping your child be ready to start school
Shoes shined and new uniforms labelled? If your child is starting primary or infant school this September, there's some helpful tips available to make sure they're fully ready for that first day.
The Get Ready for School online booklet has got tips on ways to prepare yourself and your child, as well as information on childcare options before and after the school day.
Not yet applied for a place?
The booklet also has information on applying for primary and infant school places. Parents of children born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 will be able to apply for a place from October to start school next September, so it's well worth a read.
