Sign up to Surrey's 28 Day Challenge
Do you dream of being a non-smoker, free from nicotine for good? Did you know if you stay smoke-free for 28 days, you're five times more likely to quit smoking once and for all?
That's why we're encouraging you to take part in the 28 Day Challenge run by Surrey's local stop smoking service, called One You Surrey. By signing up to the challenge, you'll receive daily emails, support, motivation and advice to help you stay on track to stop smoking.
From 1 October we'll also be following Councillor Alison Griffiths on her personal quit journey too, as she keeps us up to date on how it's going. More details below.
A personal quit plan
You'll have an adviser who will work with you to create a personal quit plan, to support you on your quit journey. You can start the challenge online, from the convenience of your smartphone or computer.
Sign up now to the 28 Day Challenge by visiting the One You Surrey website and look forward to reaping the benefits to your health and your family's health, not to mention your finances. Stopping smoking could save you as much as £3,000 a year.
Follow one person's quit journey
Everyone's quit journey is different. From the 1 October Surrey County Council's Deputy Cabinet Member for Health, Alison Griffiths, is taking part in the 28 Day Challenge in a bid to quit smoking for the first time. You will be able to visit the One You Surrey website for regular updates on her journey and to hear about her experience.
