Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing this summer

This August, Woking library invites you to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing. Run with partners, including Surrey Arts and Surrey History Centre, adults and children are welcome to join in for a jam-packed two weeks of free events in Woking library starting from Monday August 12 and finishing on Saturday 24 August.

Love arts and crafts? Try your hand at making a spectacular space mobile or cupcake decorating with Surrey Adult learning.

Are you a science genius waiting to discover the next big thing? Put on your lab coats and take part in physics and science experiments with the University of Surrey. Or if you have little ones, join in on Space Storytime sessions and be prepared to sing your way to the moon.

Feeling energized? Then try one of the adult exercise bikes with Active Surrey and cycle to the moon, or take your little ones on a fun guided moon buggy walk.

There will be lots of different things to do for all ages and interests, look at which session suits you and book your places early and get ready to launch into space.
