Do you hold a concessionary bus pass?
Published: 01 March 2019
Changes to weekday travel
From Monday 1 April holders of a disabled person's bus pass or a disabled companion pass will need to pay a fare to travel by bus before 9.30am or after 11pm on weekdays. However you will still be able to travel for free between 9.30am and 11pm on weekdays and any time at the weekend and on public holidays.
The changes in concessionary bus travel in Surrey are consistent with the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme and will help the council to save £400,000.
Check our bus operators page to see if your bus operator will be offering a reduced fare. Look out for information about this on buses too.
