Acorn bus ticket

New bus ticket for north Surrey
If you travel in and around north Surrey by bus, a new multi-journey ticket might make things easier for you. As you may know several of the routes have been taken over by different bus operators, so the Acorn ticket allows you to travel across many routes just using the one ticket.
The Acorn ticket is a collaborative project between Surrey County Council and bus operators and will come into effect on the 1 September offering passengers unlimited bus travel on most services in Elmbridge, Spelthorne, Runnymede and the eastern part of Woking. Passengers will be able to buy their tickets and use them across all bus operators in this area. So if you need to change buses you just need the one ticket. There are daily and weekly tickets available.
The ticket can be purchased on the first bus used, costing £7 for a day and £30 for a weekly ticket (children travel at half fare).
